adult_dvd
Adult DVD

Leeds six-piece Adult DVD finally deliver their highly anticipated self-titled debut, and it's every bit as loud, sweaty and gloriously ridiculous as their reputation suggests. Built on pulsing synths, spiky punk energy and a heavy dose of 1990s acid house, this is music made for both the rave and the mosh pit. Recorded and produced by the band themselves at The Nave Studios in their hometown, the album captures the chaotic thrill of their live show. Over the past few years, that show has earned them a reputation as one of Britain's most exciting live acts, with stops at Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road along the way.

Across 12 tracks, frontman Harry Hanson turns overheard nonsense, everyday characters and the small indignities of modern life into razor-sharp, laugh-out-loud songwriting. Highlights include the BBC 6 Music A-listed single "Real Tree Lee," the Lidl-inspired "Cowboy On Aisle Three," the pun-loaded "Jesus Christ Supercar" and "Do As I Please." The message running through the whole record is simple: let go, stop taking life so seriously and dance. Fans of Yard Act, LCD Soundsystem and Kasabian will feel right at home with this one.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0784/2041/0682/files/Screenshot_2026-10-15_at_6.39.54_PM.jpg?v=1792104019
