A New Day… Live in Las Vegas is Céline Dion’s first predominantly English‑language live album, released on June 14, 2004 and built around her blockbuster Las Vegas residency show A New Day… at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The collection runs about an hour and gathers 13 live tracks recorded in November 2003, plus two new studio songs—“You and I” and “Ain’t Gonna Look the Other Way”—produced by Aldo Nova, Peer Åström, Anders Bagge, and Vito Luprano. Issued by Columbia/Epic, it was promoted as a “souvenir” of the residency for fans who had seen the show and a glimpse into it for those who hadn’t, and a limited edition added a bonus DVD with the documentary One Year… One Heart about the early days of the Las Vegas run.

The live portion focuses on a mix of signature ballads, pop standards, and showpieces performed with Dion’s usual theatrical flair and the elaborate staging that characterized A New Day…. It includes concert versions of “Nature Boy,” “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” “Because You Loved Me,” “I’m Alive,” “All the Way,” “I’ve Got the World on a String,” “I Wish,” “Love Can Move Mountains,” “River Deep, Mountain High,” and “My Heart Will Go On,” along with songs that had not appeared on her previous albums at the time, such as “Fever,” “I’ve Got the World on a String,” “I Wish,” “If I Could,” and “What a Wonderful World.” Critics generally responded positively; AllMusic called it a stirring testament to her status as one of adult contemporary’s most potent live performers, highlighting how she moves comfortably between high‑energy numbers full of vocal acrobatics and quieter, more contemplative moments. Commercially, the album reached the top 10 in several markets (including number one in Greece and Quebec and number 10 in the U.S.) and was certified gold in the United States and Greece and silver in the UK, reinforcing how successfully the Las Vegas residency had extended her global appeal.
