Leeds six-piece Adult DVD finally deliver their highly anticipated self-titled debut, and it's every bit as loud, sweaty and gloriously ridiculous as their reputation suggests. Built on pulsing synths, spiky punk energy and a heavy dose of 1990s acid house, this is music made for both the rave and the mosh pit. Recorded and produced by the band themselves at The Nave Studios in their hometown, the album captures the chaotic thrill of their live show. Across 12 tracks, frontman Harry Hanson turns overheard nonsense, everyday characters and the small indignities of modern life into razor-sharp, laugh-out-loud songwriting.
