Drömfeber

Drömfeber is the debut album by Svindel, a trio from Umeå, Sweden, released by Ripple Music on July 24, 2026. Its ten Swedish-language songs run just over 41 minutes and draw strongly on late-1960s and 1970s rock: warm blues-rock guitar, clear vocals, psychedelic color, and elements of folk and jazz. Rather than treating vintage influences as pure nostalgia, the album uses them to create a loose, melodic, and distinctly Scandinavian take on classic psych rock.

The record moves through compact, song-focused pieces—“Jupiterbarn,” “Pionjärer,” “Katten,” “Atlanten,” and “Chimär”—before reaching its longest track, “En blå charad.” Reviewers have noted its relaxed but flowing character, occasional Hendrix-like guitar touches, and hints of 13th Floor Elevators-style psychedelia; another appraisal emphasizes its steady groove, engaging clean singing, and guitar-led momentum. The title translates approximately as “dream fever,” an apt image for an album that balances earthy rock-and-blues textures with a hazy, poetic, psychedelic atmosphere.
