Duran Duran’s 2026 Duran Duran is a reissue of the band’s 1993 self-titled album, more commonly known as The Wedding Album because of its cover art featuring wedding photos of the band members’ parents. Originally released after the commercial disappointment of Liberty, the album became a major comeback, reconnecting Duran Duran with a broad audience through the success of “Ordinary World” and “Come Undone.” The 2026 edition brings the record back to vinyl, expanding it across two LPs for improved sound and presenting it with updated packaging.

Musically, The Wedding Album shows a more mature and reflective side of Duran Duran. While traces of their sleek new wave and dance-pop identity remain, the album leans into adult alternative rock, atmospheric balladry, funk, soul, and polished 1990s pop production. Songs like “Too Much Information,” “Love Voodoo,” “Drowning Man,” and “Sin of the City” give the record range, but its emotional centre is “Ordinary World,” a graceful, melancholic anthem that helped redefine the band beyond their 1980s image.
