Description

Rozz Williams’s Flowers is a three-track 12-inch release issued by Cult Epics on July 24, 2026. Rather than a full-length album, it revisits and reframes “Flowers,” the melancholy Rozz Williams composition first released on his 1995 collaboration with Gitane Demone, Dream Home Heartache. The new edition is available digitally and on limited pink vinyl, and it situates the song within a broader renewed interest in Williams’s work following the documentary Rozz Williams: Romeo’s Distress.

Its centerpiece is “Flowers (Analog Version — Remix 2026),” constructed around Williams’s original recorded vocal with newly added instrumental performances by former Christian Death members Rikk Agnew on guitar, James McGearty on bass, and David Glass on drums. The B-side adds two contrasting archival presentations: a remastered piano version from Dream Home Heartache, featuring the spare, intimate mood of Williams and Demone’s collaboration, and a remastered live version previously released on Sleeping Dogs. Together, the approximately 20-minute release traces one song through three distinct settings—gothic chamber pop, live performance, and newly completed band arrangement—emphasizing Williams’s vulnerable lyricism and the lingering impact of his songwriting.
