Description
Victoria Monét’s Frequency of Love is her second studio album, released October 2, 2026, through Lovett Music/RCA Records. Following Jaguar II, the 22-track collection expands her blend of soul, funk, and contemporary R&B with sweeping strings, shimmering synthesizers, and dance-floor rhythms. Working again with longtime collaborator D’Mile, alongside producers including Camper and Kaytranada, Monét explores connection across romantic desire, family affection, heartbreak, and spiritual longing. The singles introduce that range: “Juicy” leans into breezy, yacht-R&B-inspired funk, “Reach Out” brings a house-flavored pulse, and “Let Me” slows the atmosphere into an intimate, unhurried slow jam.
The guest performances give those different expressions of love distinct voices. Leon Thomas and Monét’s daughter Hazel join “You Mean the World to Me,” while Lucky Daye appears on “Maybe” and SZA shares the dreamlike longing of “See You in My Dreams.” The Bruno Mars duet “That’s Why I Love You” turns toward wholehearted devotion, contrasting with the flirtation of “Single,” featuring Bryson Tiller; Chlöe later joins “Lose Myself.” Five interludes punctuate the approximately 64-minute sequence, creating pauses between its fuller songs before “For You” closes the album. Across that expansive program, Monét connects the lush musical vocabulary of her earlier work with a broader exploration of how love can comfort, excite, wound, and endure.
