Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD is Future’s seventh solo studio album, released on January 18, 2019 via Freebandz and Epic Records. The project runs 20 tracks and just over an hour, and is presented as a synthesis of his many alter egos—Super Future, Fire Marshal Future, Astronaut Kid, Pluto, and Future Hendrix—rather than a completely new persona. The tracklist opens with “Never Stop” and includes songs like “Jumpin on a Jet,” “Rocket Ship,” “Temptation,” “Crushed Up,” “F&N,” “Call the Coroner,” “Krazy but True,” “Servin Killa Kam,” “Baptiize,” “Goin Dummi,” “Faceshot,” and “Stick to the Models,” with production from Tay Keith, Wheezy, Southside, ATL Jacob, and other staple trap producers.

Musically, The WIZRD leans into Future’s established trap sound—booming 808s, woozy synths, and Auto‑Tuned vocals—but uses that framework to touch nearly every corner of his catalog: cold street records, more melodic, R&B‑tinged cuts, and spacey, “Astronaut Kid”‑style tracks. Songs like “Temptation,” “Rocket Ship,” and “Never Stop” blend conversational rapping with fluid vocal runs, while darker cuts such as “Call the Coroner” and “Stick to the Models” echo the nihilistic mood of tapes like Monster, focusing on death, excess, and emotional numbness. Across the album Future repeatedly references his influence on contemporary trap—most overtly on “Krazy but True,” where he raps about other rappers borrowing his flows, ad‑libs, and aesthetic—framing The WIZRD as a kind of self‑curated showcase of everything he does, pulled together into one expansive, late‑2010s trap statement.
