Description

Corrosion of Conformity’s Good God / Baad Man is a 2026 double album and the band’s first studio release since No Cross No Crown in 2018. It marks a changed lineup, with Pepper Keenan and Woody Weatherman joined by bassist Bobby Landgraf and drummer Stanton Moore, and it arrives after the death of founding drummer Reed Mullin and the departure of longtime bassist Mike Dean. Rather than trying to smooth over those changes, the album uses its two-part structure to explore different sides of C.O.C.’s identity.

The Good God half leans heavier, angrier, and more aggressive, pulling from the band’s hardcore roots, sludge-metal weight, and Southern-fried riff power on tracks like “Good God? / Final Dawn,” “You Or Me,” “Gimme Some Moore,” and “The Handler.” The Baad Man half opens the sound up into funkier, bluesier, more swaggering heavy rock, with songs like “Baad Man,” “Lose Yourself,” “Handcuff County,” and “Forever Amplified” emphasizing groove, looseness, and psychedelic Southern atmosphere. As a whole, Good God / Baad Man feels like a broad survey of what has always made Corrosion of Conformity distinctive: punk attitude, Sabbathian heaviness, jam-room chemistry, and a deep love of dirty, soulful rock ’n’ roll.
