Greatest Hits Live — also issued under the fuller title Rip It to Shreds: The Animals Greatest Hits Live! — is a live album by the original lineup of The Animals, released in 1984 on I.R.S. Records. It documents the group's 1983 reunion concert tour, which marked the second and final attempt by the classic lineup to reconvene. Though much of the actual touring drew heavily from Ark, the new studio album the band had recorded for the occasion, the live album itself veers in a different direction, concentrating almost exclusively on the group's celebrated 1960s catalogue rather than the newer material. The recording captured at Wembley Arena in London on December 31, 1983 features the original five-piece — vocalist Eric Burdon, guitarist Hilton Valentine, keyboardist Alan Price, bassist Chas Chandler, and drummer John Steel — augmented by additional musicians including Zoot Money on keyboards, Steve Grant on guitar and synthesizer, Steve Gregory on saxophones, and Nippy Noya on percussion.

The setlist reads as a compact greatest-hits survey of the band's British Invasion era, opening with "It's Too Late" and moving through landmark tracks including a traditional arrangement of "House of the Rising Sun," the defiant "It's My Life," "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood," Sam Cooke's "Bring It on Home to Me," John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom," and closing with an extended rendition of "We've Gotta Get Out of This Place." The inclusion of "When I Was Young" — from the later Eric Burdon and the Animals era — rounds out the 11-track running time. Originally issued on I.R.S., the album has since been reissued multiple times, including a 2019 CD and vinyl release on Secret Records and a 2026 limited-edition pressing on 180-gram blue vinyl, keeping it in circulation as one of the more straightforward live documents of the band's enduring catalogue.
