Ledbetter Heights (The 30th Anniversary Sessions) is a fully re-recorded version of Kenny Wayne Shepherd's landmark debut album, released on May 8, 2026 through Ram Records / Thirty Tigers, co-produced by Shepherd and Jerry Harrison and mixed by Thom "TK" Kidd. The original Ledbetter Heights arrived in 1995 when Shepherd was just 17 years old and quickly went Platinum, helping redefine modern blues rock during an era dominated by grunge — named in honor of a historic neighborhood in his hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana, as a tribute to blues legend Huddie "Lead Belly" Ledbetter. All 12 tracks from the debut are revisited here, with Shepherd deliberately returning to the same guitar rig he used on the original recording to preserve tonal continuity while allowing three decades of musical growth to reshape the arrangements. The most significant change is vocal: long-time KWS band singer Noah Hunt, who has been with Shepherd since 1997, replaces Corey Sterling, the raspy-voiced vocalist on the original.
