Let's Talk About Love

Let’s Talk About Love is Céline Dion’s 1997 studio album that fully solidified her status as a global pop superstar. It serves as the follow‑up to Falling into You and is built like a big, international event record, pairing her signature power‑ballad style with carefully chosen collaborators and producers. The album’s tone is widescreen and lavish, designed for arenas and radio alike, and it moves through a mix of romantic ballads, soft rock, and adult‑contemporary pop that keeps her voice at the center of every arrangement.

Song‑wise, it’s best known for including “My Heart Will Go On,” the love theme from Titanic that became one of the most successful singles in pop history. Around that centerpiece, the album features collaborations such as “Tell Him” with Barbra Streisand, “Immortality” with the Bee Gees, and “I Hate You Then I Love You” with Luciano Pavarotti, alongside solo tracks like “The Reason,” “Treat Her Like a Lady,” “Love Is on the Way,” and the title song “Let’s Talk About Love.” Altogether, it plays like a mid‑to‑late‑90s adult‑pop blockbuster: lushly produced, loaded with big choruses, and aimed at showcasing Dion’s range—from intimate, conversational phrasing to the towering vocal climaxes that became her trademark.
