Prolific

Recorded in Los Angeles and first released in 2017 as No Pressure, this eight-track collaboration appeared through Nipsey Hussle’s All Money In imprint. Production is credited to Mike & Keys, G Ry, DJ Fu, Axel Folie and B Carr, with Nipsey and Bino Rideaux sharing vocal duties throughout. In Nipsey’s catalogue, it falls between Slauson Boy 2 and his 2018 studio debut, Victory Lap. Clipped drums, low bass and restrained keyboard loops place the sessions firmly in the polished West Coast rap sound of the late 2010s.

Retitled Prolific for its first vinyl release, the record pairs Nipsey’s measured, declarative flow with Bino’s melodic hooks and lighter vocal phrasing. The track list includes “Clarity” and “Stucc in the Grind,” two collaborations that also appeared during Nipsey’s Slauson Boy 2 period. Its compact running order keeps the focus on the contrast between both voices rather than guest appearances or extended arrangements. This pressing suits listeners tracing Nipsey’s independent All Money In years and Bino Rideaux’s early Los Angeles work.
