Description

Songs About Us is the twelfth studio album by Georgia-born country superstar Jason Aldean, released on April 24, 2026 via BBR Music Group/BMG and Aldean's own Macon Music imprint. The album marks his first release of original music in three years since 2023's Highway Desperado, and arrives following last year's career-spanning compilation 30 Number One Hits, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart — his 13th Top 10 country album in 20 years. Produced by Aldean's longtime collaborator Michael Knox, the 20-track record is one of the most expansive of his career, built around what Aldean has described as authentic storytelling through life's defining moments: "the highs, the lows, and everything in between." The album's lead single, "How Far Does A Goodbye Go," became his 31st career number one, with follow-up single "Don't Tell On Me" serviced to country radio in March 2026.

The album features an array of collaborations that give it both personal and genre-spanning depth. The title track "Songs About Us" pairs Aldean with fellow Georgia native Luke Bryan — released the same week Aldean co-headlined a show with Bryan at UGA's Sanford Stadium — while "Easier Gone" features a long-awaited duet with his wife Brittany Aldean, co-written by Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood of Lady A. "Dust on the Bottle" brings in singer-songwriter David Lee Murphy for a take on his own 1995 classic. The majority of the album's writing credits are shared by Aldean's core creative team of Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, John Morgan, and Lydia Vaughan, with Aldean himself taking co-writing credit on several tracks including "The High Road" and "Help You Remember."
