Stardust
Freya Skye
Stardust is the debut extended play by English singer-songwriter and actress Freya Skye, released on February 4, 2026 via Hollywood Records digitally and on streaming, with a physical CD and vinyl release following on May 15, 2026. The EP arrives on the heels of Skye's breakout lead single "silent treatment," which became a Top 40 hit in late 2025 and built significant momentum ahead of the release — timed to coincide with her completely sold-out headlining "Stars Align" tour. The project was written with an accomplished team of collaborators including Julia Michaels (known for her work with Sabrina Carpenter and H.E.R.), Grammy-winning production duo Mattman & Robin (Taylor Swift), and Johan Carlsson (Ariana Grande), among others. At just sixteen years old, Skye made a striking entrance with a project that debuted at number 35 on the UK Albums Chart and number 74 on the Billboard 200.
Across its five tracks — "silent treatment," "petty," "golden boy," "maybe tomorrow," and "why'd you have to call" — the EP traces the arc of a teenage breakup, moving from hurt and confusion through to clarity and emotional healing, with a sixth bonus track "london" included on the vinyl and CD editions. As Melodic Magazine describes it, the EP "plays like a coming-of-age breakup arc" and showcases "a depth and emotional maturity rare for her age." Skye herself described the title and concept to Wikipedia: "The songs are the stardust — they're a bit broken when they're separated and a bit messy, very honest, but when you put them together, they tell the full story." The Au Review called it "a joyful, emotionally sharp debut that announces Freya Skye as a serious new voice in pop."
