That's The Spirit is the fifth studio album by Sheffield, UK metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon, originally released on September 11, 2015, via RCA/Columbia/Sony, and reissued on vinyl on May 1, 2026, under Sony Legacy. The album marked a decisive and widely discussed turning point in the band's career, moving decisively away from the abrasive deathcore sound of their earlier records toward a polished, stadium-ready blend of alternative rock, electronic production, and pop-inflected songwriting. Produced by Jordan Fish and the band, and recorded at Flux Studios in Sheffield, the record debuted at number one in the UK and reached the top ten in multiple countries, eventually earning platinum certifications around the world. As the band's official store describes it, That's The Spirit is "the album that saw the band transcend from UK-alternative mainstays to global superstars."

Across its eleven tracks, the album is built around massive, anthemic choruses and sleek modern production, anchored by vocalist Oli Sykes's most accessible and emotionally direct performances to date. Standout singles include "Throne," a defiant arena-rock declaration that became one of the band's signature songs; "Drown," which had originally been released as a standalone single in 2014 and previewed the album's more melodic direction; and "Follow You," a straightforward love song that represented a further reach toward mainstream rock radio. Deeper cuts like "Doomed," "Avalanche," and "Blasphemy" add moments of darker, heavier texture that nod to the band's earlier identity while remaining firmly within the album's polished aesthetic. The 2026 Sony Legacy vinyl pressing brings the album back into print as a double LP, preserving one of the decade's most commercially and stylistically significant hard rock records.
