The Sea of Memories (15th Anniversary Edition)

Bush’s The Sea of Memories (15th Anniversary Edition) revisits the band’s 2011 fifth studio album with newly remastered audio and nine bonus tracks. Released September 25, 2026, through earMUSIC, the expanded edition preserves the original 12-song sequence, including “The Sound of Winter,” “Baby Come Home,” and the more introspective “All Night Doctors” and “Be Still My Love.” As a document of Bush’s return to recording, the album centers on renewal, bringing their guitar-driven alternative rock into a new chapter while retaining Gavin Rossdale’s distinctive vocal presence. The anniversary treatment expands that chapter rather than rearranging it, placing the additional material after the original album.

The extras broaden the picture through additional songs, alternate arrangements, and live material. “The Year of Danger,” “Ghost,” and “Lay Down Your Guns” sit alongside a cover of Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” while remixes of “The Sound of Winter” and “The Afterlife” take the material into electronic territory. An original edit of “All Night Doctors,” a live “Landslide” from the Bridge School Benefit, and an acoustic “Float” provide contrasting perspectives on the band’s performances and songwriting. Available as a deluxe two-CD set and a limited heavyweight three-LP edition, the release functions as both a remastered return to the album and a wider archive of the period, with the vinyl’s third disc devoted to all nine bonus tracks.
