Travelling Around The World

Pirate Queen’s Travelling Around the World is the band’s second album, released September 4, 2026, through Despotz Records. Following their 2024 debut Ghosts, the eight-track, approximately 31-minute collection combines symphonic power metal with folk touches and theatrical pirate storytelling. Its central spirit is adventure, framed by the band’s fictional mythology: a crew descended from legendary pirate families, sailing from the floating island of Lyxion in the Bermuda Triangle. “Arrival of the Queen” introduces the voyage before “Sailing Around the World” and “William Kidd” bring the emphasis to melodic hooks, driving rhythms, and seafaring imagery.

“Ciudad de Tacoronte” pushes the power-metal momentum forward, while “Her Majesty Captain Destiny Grieflord” and “Lyxion” extend the album’s character-driven fantasy setting. Her Majesty Elizabeth Noir Nuit’s warm, commanding vocals provide a narrative center amid the symphonic and folk-inflected arrangements. The brief “Shanty” offers a softer, more evocative pause before “On the Sea” closes the journey. With a compact running time and a clear nautical identity, the record keeps its focus on accessible melodies and cinematic atmosphere, treating the pirate concept as a world to inhabit rather than simply a backdrop for the songs.
