Your Man (20th Anniversary)

Your Man (20th Anniversary) is the 2026 expanded reissue of Josh Turner’s 2006 sophomore album, a pivotal record that established his deep baritone and traditional-leaning country style on a much larger scale. The original album produced Turner’s first No. 1 country single with the title track—co-written by Chris Stapleton—and also includes the major hit “Would You Go with Me,” alongside “Me and God,” “Loretta Lynn’s Lincoln,” “White Noise,” “Angels Fall Sometimes,” and “Way Down South.” Its sound favors steady rhythms, resonant vocals, acoustic and steel-guitar textures, and songs about romance, faith, rural identity, and commitment.

The anniversary edition expands the original 11-song album to 17 tracks. It adds “Hard Headed,” previously an iTunes-exclusive bonus track, as well as live recordings of “Your Man,” “Would You Go with Me,” and “Me and God” captured in 2012, plus 2021 acoustic performances of “Your Man” and “Me and God” recorded in Nashville. These additions place the original studio work beside later interpretations, highlighting how naturally the songs have remained in Turner’s performing repertoire. The result is both a document of mid-2000s mainstream country and a fuller retrospective of the album that became a cornerstone of his career.
